Assessment & Evaluation Process

The Assessment and Evaluation (A&E) Center provides assessment and evaluation services for both children and adults; consumers receive their initial services through the A&E Center. The A&E Center’s divisions include psychological testing, CRISIS/MATES services, and the CANS unit. The psychologists complete comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations for consumers to understand the presenting problems and overall psychological functioning of the individual as well as make appropriate recommendations for treatment. The Continuum Specialists are Master’s-prepared individuals who also participate in the assessment process as well as provide continuum management within the WES system of care to ensure that consumers receive the necessary services. The psychologists within the A&E Center also participate in other roles including research and outcome measurement, clinical training, program consultation, supervision, and psychological testing.

The A&E Center is staffed by licensed psychologists, licensed psychiatrists, behavioral health clinicians, and program support specialists.
